Angela Berardinelli

Senior Lecturer
Computer Science

Dr. Berardinelli has teaching interests in databases, data science, data structures, algorithms, discrete math (including proof-writing), and theory of computation. Her courses typically include student-centered learning and project-based learning whenever appropriate. She is particularly interested in implementing POGIL (Process- Oriented Guided-Inquiry Learning) in computer science courses. Her current research interests are in word graphs for reflection groups (both pure math and computational problems related to the topic) and in using data science techniques to inform curriculum and career decisions for educators and students, respectively. She has had research in pure mathematics published in the peer-reviewed journals Ars Mathematica Contemporanea and Transactions of the American Mathematical Society.
