Thomas Fasciano

Thomas Fasciano got his PhD in Computing and Information Systems at UNCC in 2015 working in the fields of Computer Vision and Machine Learning.
Thomas graduated from UNCC with a PhD in Computing and Information Systems at UNCC in 2015. While there, his research focused on computer vision and machine learning and worked on projects such as tracking multiple biological objects (e.g., ants, bees, and cells) and biological motion analysis. After graduation, Thomas moved to Atlanta, GA to join the startup Partpic as a Computer Vision Engineer. In 2016, Partpic was acquired by A9.com (an Amazon subsidiary). He currently works within the Visual Search group of A9.com working on exciting problems computer vision.
