Dr. Cao is a Teaching Associate Professor at UNC Charlotte. Previously, she worked as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Johnson C. Smith University. She received her Ph.D. in Information Technology from UNC Charlotte in 2008. Her research primarily focuses on wireless networking and mobile computing with an emphasis on ad hoc networks, mobile crowd sensing, mobility models, and the modeling and simulation of network protocols.
