Academic Advisor
Kristina joined the College of Computing and Informatics as an Academic Advisor in July 2024. She earned an Associate in Arts from Wake Technical Community College and a Bachelor of Social Work from UNC Charlotte in 2020. Following graduation, she worked in social work, specializing in supporting survivors of domestic violence.
Driven by a passion for higher education, Kristina pursued a Master of Education at Clemson University, where she served as a Graduate Assistant in Supplemental Instruction. She also gained experience through roles in Clemson’s Study Abroad program, First-Generation Initiatives, and Student Affairs Research and Assessment at UNC Charlotte. As a transfer student and UNC Charlotte alumna, Kristina brings both relatability and empathy to her advising role.
Kristina’s calling lies in authenticity—showing up for both her students and herself. She is dedicated to creating a student-centered environment where individuals feel supported, understood, and empowered. Her mission is to make a meaningful impact by fostering brave spaces that help students unlock their full potential.
Kristina was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and misses Chicago deep dish pizza. In her free time, she is involved in the GOLD Alumni Network and Zeta Iota Zeta Alumnae Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega. She will be married in 2025 and enjoys playing card games, music, and watching the Buffalo Bills.
