Research Description: Dr. S M Ferdous’s group work at the intersection of algorithm design and high performance computing. His research is in solving large-scale combinatorial problems, where he designs algorithms that are theoretically sound and practically efficient. To achieve this his group often utilize streaming, parallel and distributed memory computational models. He is highly interested in exploring interdisciplinary applications of combinatorial problems, particularly in quantum computing, data science, and machine learning.
