Before joining the CCI advising team, Erin taught middle school math in Wake County. She then transitioned to support students at the higher education level by pursuing a Master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration at UNC Greensboro. During her graduate studies, she gained valuable experience through graduate assistantships and internships. In her first year, she completed her first GA position within the University Registrar’s Office working alongside the Transfer Articulation team and was an Orientation Intern over the summer. During her second year, she served as the GA for Exploratory Academic Advising and FYE 101 Instructor, where she supported students’ successful transitions to college and encouraged major and career exploration.
Erin was born and raised outside of Raleigh, North Carolina. When she’s not working, you can find her reading, listening to podcasts, crafting, and hanging out with her two dogs, Posie and Rosco.
