Matin Yarmand

Dr. Matin Yarmand is an Assistant Professor at UNC Charlotte. His research lies at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction, Educational Technology, and Healthcare, and especially focuses on leveraging human coaching to augment traditional learning systems. Dr. Yarmand holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from UC San Diego where he was a member in the Design Lab. He has previously worked in international research institutions across industry and academia, including Microsoft Research, ETH Zurich, and the University of British Columbia.
