Overview
The College offers a B.S. and a B.A. in Computer Science. The B.S. in Computer Science offers seven different concentrations. The degree has 25 hours of core Computer Science courses, a series of courses to choose from as major electives, and 9-15 semester hours of related work in a discipline outside computer science, possibly forming a minor in that discipline area. The B.A. in Computer Science offers three (3) concentrations and it is less structured than the B.S. The B.A. includes a core of 5 courses that are generally prerequisites for upper level courses.

Computer Science Core 25 hours – ITCS-1212 (Introduction to Computer Science I), ITSC-1213 (Introduction to Computer Science II), ITCS-1600 (Computing Professionals), ITCS-2175 (Logic and Algorithms), ITCS-2214 (Data Structures and Algorithms), ITCS-3146 (Introduction to Operating Systems and Networking), ITCS-3155 (Software Engineering), ITCS-3118+L (Introduction to Computer Architecture).
- B.A. Computer Science Core 15 hours – ITCS-1212/L (Introduction to Computer Science I), ITC- 1213/L (Introduction to Computer Science II, ITCS-1600 (Computing Professionals), ITCS-2175 (Logic and Algorithms), and ITCS-2214 (Data Structures and Algorithms).
